Purmo Group volunteer breaks World record

Purmo Group is very proud to announce that this morning, in Willingen, Germany, our colleague Ingo Kolhoff and a team of volunteer firefighters set a new world record for a 10km relay in full fire-fighting PPE. In doing so, they raised almost €2,500 for charity.

The record was set on the Skywalk bridge - Germany's longest suspension bridge. 

As part of our 'Complete Care' strategy for ESG, we encourage volunteering hours and set targets for helping in our communities. Ingo and his team have taken that initiative to a completely new level.

Shortly after his success, Ingo commented: “I am proud to be a part of PG, that supports such incredibly great projects with volunteering hours.”
