The history of Purmo Group
Change has always been a part of our DNA. We have always been perceptive to what is happening around us and good at grasping opportunities as they occur. But it has never been about just change for change’s sake. It has been about keeping us ahead of the curve, about using our insight to move forward and being good at implementing the moves required.
Our roots are in small, family owned businesses that have applied this ability to grow into successful international operations. As part of that tradition, we have changed throughout our history. From the little village of Purmo, Finland, the company has grown into an international leader in indoor climate comfort solutions through successful operations, mergers and acquisitions.
Foreseeing the future of our industry is something we have always done. From taking a major role in the rebuilding of the infrastructure in eastern Europe to anticipating the possibilities of the emerging Pan-European market and taking advantage of them. From being responsive to growing demands of sustainability and delivering solutions to accelerate that development to embracing new opportunities on a global scale today.
As Purmo Group, we must take a stronger leadership role in all markets and accelerate the development of the industry in general. To get there, we will use all our brands to answer the growing demands of the markets.
